Don't forget about next Thursday when the Dustin West band will be playing. Make sure to get there early because the park will be full. The Dustin West band has quite a following and last week at Soaring Wings Winery there were more than 1500 people in attendance for his Jimmy Buffett Tribute.

There was even visitors from North Carolina traveling the United States on the American Trail that goes across the country to San Franciso. I took notes for their names, but it didn't save. They walk with their dogs ( in the carrier) about 15 miles per day and started in April.

Dakota Glasshoff and Harrison Koehn proudly represented Elmwood-Murdock School in the STAR Events competitions and were very successful.
Dakota Glasshoff earned a gold medal and placed 11th in the event National Programs in Action (Level 2). Harrison Koehn was a Top 10 finalist, finishing 9th at the national awards in the event Say Yes to FCS (Level 2).
During their visit to Denver, the students also found time to visit Elitch Gardens, gather with other Nebraska attendees, and serve as competition volunteers.

Village Board Meeting
ATTENTION Change as of 2023
Elmwood Village Board Meetings are ONCE a month on the FIRST Wednesday of every month.
The meetings are held at the new Village Board office located at the Learning Center on the south side of town.
Official agendas are posted the day before at the Post Office, Gas Station, and Village Office. Prior to the posting of the agenda, meeting items can be added to the meeting. At the end of each meeting is a Public Comment Section. Attendees have three minutes to speak about anything at this time. Further discussion on the topic can then be added to the next board meeting.
The agenda is posted at the Elmwood C-Store, the post office, and the Village office.
Minutes can be viewed at the Village office or can be found online.

Wouldn't it be amazing if the board meetings were FULL every time? This is your opportunity to be involved, be "in the know" and learn how to influence how your community grows, how improvements can be made, and how you can participate in the steps needed to MAKE IT HAPPEN.
