Bess Streeter Aldrich Primitives Display
Make sure to stop by the Bess Streeter Aldrich to see the latest antiques and primitives.

Every room is beautiful and the combination of antiques and primitives mix very well.

This display remains until mid-November when the holiday and Christmas trees grace the halls.

Market to Market

Did you know the largest one-day relay race in the nation came through Elmwood and Murdock? Isn't that cool.
This wouldn't be possible without hundreds of volunteers. Each group actually raised money for their organization.

The Market to Market race brought over 5,000 runners from 35 states. The 76-mile race started in Omaha and ended in Lincoln.

Dozens of local volunteers helped out at exchange points and making sandwiches. Hank even helped out.

Thanks to Julie and her sandwich crew. Lunch was delicious.

Pumpkins and Fall Decorations
Don't forget to go over to the Pumkin patch and pick up some pumpkins and fall decorations.
Even visitors came from Lincoln to pick out pumpkins.

You don't have to go to a big pumpkin patch and be over stimulated with all the activities, hustle and bustle. Memories and traditions are created with ones you love.

Writers are encouraged to focus on historical and/or realistic topics. This year the Aldrich Foundation is paying tribute to Mrs. Aldrich’s book Spring Came on Forever and it would be an excellent resource.

Readers want to see involvement in and around our village. It not only helps to promote our town, but it could create interest in joining your group.
Youth groups and other civic groups do litter pick-up, sponsor Easter egg hunts, collect food for those less fortunate and meet for crafting, among lots of other events.
Be sure to check the calendar to the right for upcoming events, also.
