Kids Painting Class
Part of what makes Elmwood great is our community involvement and local talent. Last Sunday a Kids painting class was held at the Elmwood Community Center. The kids had a wonderful time and some very creative projects were created.
Cindy M hosted this class and has others planned. Subscribe to her Your Thairapist Facebook Group for more news and opportunities in the future.

If you would like to see more "make and takes" workshops or would like to host a class just do it!! We have several locations in town where you can host depending on the size. The community center, the Elmwood Inspired AirBnB and the Elmwood Firehall.

Harvest Moon Hustle
Did you notice the extra cars and activity last Friday?
It was the Harvest moon shuffle and 1300 runners and several hundred fans, family and observers cheered on the runners.
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped and supported the Elmwood Rescue and our town. This event is one of the most unique running events in the state of Nebraska and sells out registration in less than 15 minutes.
Take a look at the official photos from the Harvest Moon Shuffle and think about volunteering next year.
Elmwood Bess Streeter Aldrich Park News
Did you notice the dirt work this week? It's the next phase of the park renovations. Phase one was the new playground and just how fantastic is that?!

This next phase is the addition of a large gazebo on the south side of the lawn area. This will give us an opportunity for events, music, arts, a gathering place for people to sit, read, meet and enjoy the outside.
Conversations this past weekend from people were excited about the possibilities to come and excitement for the future.
Do you want to be part of the planning of that future? A park committee is being formed which will meet on a regular basis each month. Ideas such as...
Movies in the park
Arts in the park
Music in the park
Food truck events
Horseshoe competitions
Fundraising for additional features
Attract outside special events to draw visitors to Elmwood
We need people with all kinds of talent. If you love Elmwood, love the park, want to be involved or even wish to have your voice and ideas heard email me at editor@elmwoodnebraska.com

The Village Board is considering going to one trash pickup for Elmwood and would like to get your input.
