Great Opportunity To Show off Elmwood!
NTV is creating a one-hour special about barn quilts and why people live in small towns. Because Elmwood-Murdock FBLA created the first barn quilts in Nebraska, they are including Elmwood in their story. For their video Kurk Shrader has been asked to provide a walk down Main Street and travel to some of the barn quilts to share how they came to be. This is a great opportunity to show off the town, especially main street! Maybe we should try to spiff up the whole town in case they drive around. I'm going to try to get Vince to clean up that trailer out in the yard! Thursday, September 8th, is the day they will be here.

Witte Physical Therapy Student of the Week
Message from Dr. Witte:
Again this year Witte Physical Therapy will be honoring a student of week. This student will be selected for the local high schools in Cass County based on submissions by the schools and community leaders. One student will be selected each week and invited to stop by Witte PT for a prize. I am hoping with the help of the newsletters, the Plattsmouth Journal, and other local publications that we can publicly get the word out about these deserving students.
