The pancakes at the Elmwood Community Center were the bomb! Sausages donated by Chris at the Elmwood Meat Plant were amazing. The company was outstanding as always.

We met Sherry and Lou on the way in so I missed him flipping pancakes.

Deb and Coleman were enjoying breakfast with Carae and Johnny and their kiddos.

John tried to dive out of the camera's shot but didn't make it in time. He must be shy.

Merle Backemeier served up the pancakes for us.

Vince shared his pancake experiences with Merle.

Carol Wilhelm served up sausages and scrambled eggs.

Suzie listened as Vince told her his pancake flipping secrets. He is obsessed with making pancakes. Not for us but he makes them at work.

I was invited to come to the Elmwood Murdock Elementary School by Jordyn who is a 2nd grader there. She said they had a messy project I could help her do. Boy, was she right! Every year Mrs. Oehlerking, aka Mrs. O, has her class cover a balloon with paper mache and make a snow man. So we covered the balloon with paper mache and let them set until next week when they will paint them. Mrs. O had a lot of help from parents for the project. We have the best teacher and parent and facilities here in Elmwood. So lucky!!!

Mrs. O giving instructions.

The kids and parents working on the snowmen.

Jordyn and her snowman.

Brook was loving the goop.

Ben didn't so much like the goop but he was helpful at handing out the papers.
