Elmwood Murdock Science Quiz Bowl Team Competes at Wayne State

Elmwood Team A did really well and made it to the finals before they were defeated by Creighton Prep.
After a not so successful morning Elmwood Team B competed in the Consolation Rounds before being defeated by the Duchesne girls. They may have been distracted by the girls, I'm not sure.
Mrs. Stock was very proud of all the kids. I was surprised at some of the questions that the kids knew the answers to...I surely didn't know them!

The Valentine's Banquet was a Delicious Event
The St. Paul Methodist Church held their annual Valentine's Banquet last Sunday. The proceeds benefit the Elmwood United Methodist Youth Fellowship. Bonnie Brewer and Linda Blunt coordinated and decorated for the event. Along with a lot of helpers! The event was a great success!
