Curious about Radon? What is it? Why should you care? Radon is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that can kill. In an effor to raise awareness of the dangers of Radon gas the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is participating in a National Radon Poster Contest. If your child (ages 9-14) is creative...and whose child isn't?...they can make a poster and enter this contest.

UPSTAIRS the Rummage Sale will feature large pieces, such as furniture, etc.,
and
DOWNSTAIRS will be a 'fill-your-bag' sale for $4 each!
Our BAKE SALE will have an assortment of many items, and the kitchen will be selling CINNAMON ROLLS/DONUTS for breakfast and PULLED-PORK SANDWICHES for lunch!
In case you don't recognize Kimmy she is Big Dan's granddaughter. Dan Rice and his wife, Karen, have been in Elmwood for about ten years or more. If you have ever needed tires, body work, or your car worked on you may have stopped into his shop. For a long time they also had items for sale and movies to rent. Their grandchildren may not live in Elmwood but they have certainly spent a lot of time here. We hope you can come out and support Kimmy in her fight against Aplastic Anemia. Kimmy is a lively 11 year old who is looking forward to putting this time in her life behind her. She is currently at Children's Hospital undergoing treatment very similar to a cancer treatment. She lost her hair last week and has had many people join her in the bald look. She has two brothers and a sister who are anxiously waiting for her to come home. Please come out and have some fun and show Kimmy that she has an army of support in her battle for her life.

Another Win for Elmwood Murdock Football team! Johnson County Central fell to the Knights last Friday night. And the BBQ fell to the many people stopping by to support the Booster Club! Despite the heat the turnout was good!
