The Son Shine Child Development Center had a visit from some firemen.
The kids appreciated the visit!
Jacob Blunt, Heath Vogt, and Ed Blunt showed the kids their uniforms that they wear to fight fires.
The guys tell the kids about fire safety.
The kids tried on the jackets and found they were very heavy!
It is hard to move in the coat!

The Elmwood Volunteer Fire Department recently acquired this 2013 Four Door Freightliner. It has a 1250gpm pump and 1250 Gallon Tank. I didn't even know we needed one but thank goodness we have people who keep track of the equipment and make sure we have everything we need to keep the community safe.
