Elmwood-Murdock Baseball/Softball would like to thank the community for their support for this year’s pancake feed. Due to the snow, only the truly adventurous came out and we appreciate your extra efforts to support local ball teams. A big thank you to the those helped get things set up for this event especially the Murdock Fire Department and Loren and Tammy Lockman and EVERYONE else for coming out to it. Thank you to the coaches, parents and players came and helped wipe tables, cook sausage and pancakes etc. that made the event go smoothly. We truly are blessed to live in this community full of helpful people.

This little piggy is not little at all! We found this outside Then & Again this weekend. It is the new Guard Piggy. At least he has his license!

RECYCLE!! RECYCLE!! RECYCLE!!!
We have plenty of opportunities in Elmwood to recycle. You can take your items to the recycle bins behind the Elmwood C Store or you can drop them off in the Elmwood City Park in the Cass County Refuse Recycle Bin. Either way....please help and recycle!

What beautiful day in the park! Hey, is that Harvey...or the Easter Bunny?
The Elmwood Murdock Merchants Association sponsored the annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Elmwood City Park. The FBLA kids helped to make it a great success!

The kids and families wait for the hunt to begin.

I'd say that everyone better stay out of the way of Ed's grandkids. He is watching over them!

Harvey, I mean the Easter Bunny, passed out candy to the kids and very good naturely let us take his picture. Brandon Luetchens was a real sport!

Carly, that is a huge bucket! You must be planning on finding a lot of eggs.

Growing up is hard...Liberty Cronk is too old for the Easter Egg Hunt. Her mom gave her a squeeze and promised to show her how to steal the candy from her brothers and sister.

Don Cronk was giving Cooper tips on how to keep the candy hidden from his older sister.

Jennifer Hromanik helped line the kids up.

Jordyn is beyond giddy while Emma...well, she's just not sure about this hunt.

The anticipation builds!

Marissa checks to see if there is a better spot to be standing.

Mr. Shrader shows parents where their kids should be standing. Little do they realize what prize awaits the kids.

Bubbles...with Whistles. This may have been a good thought when he ordered them but Mr. Shrader wasn't thinking of the parents! The kids loved them though and that's what counts.

This is the line of kids after the hunt waiting to get their prizes. Actually, this is about half of them, the other half were already through.
