CLEAN UP CREW IN ACTION!

 Clean up_crew

See these guys?  Some of them are our Village Board members, village employees, and helpful citizens.  They came out early on a rainy Saturday morning to help unload our pickups and trailers of junk from our yards and dump them into the huge dumpsters so that our town would be a bit cleaner.  But they did more than that last Saturday.  They went to the home of Don Cronk who recently had a heart attack and asked if they could help the family with their junk removal.  Not because the Cronk's yard was a mess or was unsightly but because they knew Don likes to keep his yard nice and couldn't haul the collection of junk himself.  They knew Don would do it if he could.  Don wanted me to share this with you and to express his appreciation for the awesome people who came to his house and asked if they could help.  Thanks to everyone who helped with the city wide clean up.  Every little bit helps!

Clean up

The guys were waiting for more trucks and trailers of junk.

Clean up_recylce1

John McNaught had a recycle station set up also.  Items that could be recycled were taken here to be hauled away.

Clean up_Recycle2

If you missed the city wide clean up day but still have items that need to be recycled or hauled off talk to John or is cohort, Jim Nelson.  They might just be able to help you out!
