Cronk Construction Takes on a Project!
Don Cronk and his crew took on the project of residing his neighbor's house and building a new front porch. Don's company normally works in the city but he is starting to look for jobs closer to home. Don and his wife, Amanda, live in Elmwood with their four kids, Liberty, Hailey, Jackson, and Cooper. Don also has older children that stay with them occasionally. His son, Zach, is on his construction crew. If you have any construction projects give Don a call. He'd be glad to help you out!
Cooper Cronk had a little snack as he watched his dad work.

Manley, NE [May 20, 2010]- Auditions for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of "King Arthur's Quest" will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010 from 10am to 12pm at the Lofte Community Theatre near Manley. There are roles for students entering 1st grade through 7th grade. There is no cost to participate in this production. Those wishing to audition must arrive by 10am and be prepared to stay for the whole two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins 15-30 minutes after auditions. Although not all actors will be needed at each session, they should make sure they have a clear schedule for the entire week. It is important that each child attends ALL rehearsals required for their role. A detailed schedule for each child/role will be distributed after auditions.

June 6th was a big day in our neighborhood...my brother, Joe,
and our friend, Brooke, both celebrated birthdays.
Brooke couldn't help but laugh at her girls and their water balloon fights.
Joe and Brooke had to have help blowing out the candles.
Shay is just windy enough to get the job done.
Mom says the best thing she ever bought was a bubble machine.
The kids all agreed!
Jordyn accidently popped a water balloon on her head and
everyone had a good laugh...especially her dad!
Corey tried to entice Ariel into grabbing the water balloon
so he could pop it on her..she was too smart for him!
Joe and his friend, Matt Campbell, were in charge of filling the water balloons.
This was my mom's Mother's Day present. It's almost as
cool as the bubble machine.
A bunch of monkeys ran amok.
Shay is stylin' in her green high tops.
What kid doesn't love a jar full of snails?
Bowling Birthday Fun!
Joe wanted to go bowling for his birthday so we went to Sempec's in Elkhorn.
As you can see I tried out different techniques.
Ashli thought that leaning one direction would help guide her ball where she wanted it.
Sometimes it worked!
We tried out the DDR - that's Dance Dance Revolution.
We rode go carts and played laser tag. Girls vs boys, of course, and we won.
I've been a busy girl lately! Not only have I been doing the newsletter but I've been working at Sonic in Lincoln, too. You may have had me deliver your order on skates. But I've been lucky enough to get a local job at CD's Express in Elmwood so I won't have to drive to Lincoln. Stop in at CD's and say "Hi"!
Summer is here even though it may not feel warm enough yet! It will warm up quickly and we'll have even more water balloon fights. We'd love to see how you cool off and have fun in the summer. Send me your summer and vacation pictures and I'll share them with everyone in the newsletter. Who is going to the most exotic place this summer? The furthest away from Elmwood? Who is having a staycation? Send me your pictures!
Upcoming Schedule:
Saturday - June 12th - Elmwood Murdock City Wide Garage Sales
Tuesday - June 15th - EMMA Good Neighbor Nominations Due
Saturday - June 19th - Elmwood City Wide Clean Up
