PALS Kids Come Skating
The Weeping Water Elementary/High School guidance counselor, Dawn Bickford, started the PALS program this year. She paired high school kids with younger students who were recommended by their teachers. The older students commited to spending thirty minutes a week with their PAL. They talked, laughed, and showered them with attention. The skating party was their year end activity. Some older students are seniors so this was the last time they would see them officially. Mrs. Bickford said the program was a success and plans to continue with it next year.

A Bad Day Fishing is Better than a Good Day at Work - Joe's favorite quote

Joe, Bridget, and I grabbed some worms...which Brody sells from the little fridge in our garage...and
headed to the lake at Weeping Water for a good day fishing.

Betty Boop ran off with the fish! The fish were biting and so Boop was biting the fish!

Tyler would be proud.

Joe and Bridget each brought a catfish home. Joe talked Mike Wray into cleaning them
for him. Next time he will do it himself.

Don't forget to license your dog! Romeo has to have shots and then I'm licensing him.

Garyn and I went to the Bodies Exhibit in Omaha. It was very interesting. You should go if you are
not easily grossed out. Check it out, click here...Bodies.
