Angie Friesell serves up sausages to fellow merchant, Deb Lenz
The Elmwood Murdock Merchants Association knows how to throw a pancake feed! People poured in for the free pancakes and sausage. The members of the EMMA organization wanted to thank their loyal patrons for their business and the best way to say "Thanks" is with food! Mick Bornemeier volunteered his services and his grill for the event. Lou Allgayer, Bill Connour, and Mick teamed up to flip the flapjacks all morning. They were quite the team...the line went very fast.
Chris Cramer, Elmwood Meat Plant, donated the sausages for the event. Tuesday, they were pigs, Saturday they were sausages sizzling on the griddle preparing for their big day on Sunday. They were awesome! He also donated two Easter Hams for the drawing. Everyone had a great breakfast and the company was pretty good, too. Many merchants helped with the event and were so glad to see everyone turn out. Zachary Baumgart and Henry Clymer represented the Cub Scouts. They were on hand to help with the clean up.

Junior High Appreciation Night
Junior High Appreciation Night at the Flying Wheels was an opportunity to let the kids know how much they are appreciated. The 7th and 8th grades are special to our family since Joe is in Junior High. They are just a great bunch of kids and are fun to have around. It was a fun night with lots of skating, dancing, and dodgeball. The party was crashed by two Weeping Water boys but they fit in so we let them stay.

In fact the seminar will be held on the 29th @ 7pm. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you! Please come back on the 29th!
Auditions at Lofte Community Theatre
The Lofte Community Theatre in Manley will be holding auditions for "Heaven Can Wait" on April 5 and 6 at 7pm. There are seven principal character parts available for men and women ages 20 and up. Eleven minor parts are available for men and women ages 18 and up. Everyone, including those with little or no theater experience, are encouraged to participate.
"Heaven Can Wait" revolves around the young boxer-in-training, Joe Pendleton who refuses to admit that he is dead. After checking the records, his escort Mr. Jordan discovers that Joe is right.
