RYLAN MEYER
ELMWOOD MURDOCK HIGH SCHOOL

This week our Student of the Week Winner is Rylan Meyer. He is a senior at Elmwood Murdock High School. His activities include one act, speech, 4-H, yearbook, and STRIV. He is the son of Mark and Michelle Meyer.
He was nominated for these reasons:
- He is involved in multiple school activities
- He is a positive contributor to the school
- He is a leader in the school and out in the community
- He is a stand out performer in Speech and One Act
Rylan, Mark, and Michelle are invited to stop by one of our clinics in Louisville, Plattsmouth or Hooper, or email (dan@wittephysicaltherapy.com) to claim their Witte Physical Therapy swag! An award will be delivered to them at their school!

Guess the Book

Next edition of "guess the book". This one is in the upstairs bathroom.

Welcome to the world of Madeline. The little French girl.

So what book are these little woodland creatures from?

Every week I will post ONE photo of a room or display and all you have to do is email the name of the book to me editor@elmwoodnebraska.com and get entered to win in April. A prize will be given to the person who sends in the most correct answers AND to the person who sends me the most guessing. 

In coordination with St Paul Methodist Church, United Methodist Health Fund, Hutchinson, Kansas, and Bits & Pieces five bicycles are available to check out (just like a library book) and ride around town, to the park, or on the trail.

Village Updates

   Village Board Meeting

Board meetings are open to the public and are held every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.

The meetings are held at the new Village Board office located at the Learning Center on the south side of town. 

Official agendas are posted the day before at the Post Office, Gas Station, and Village Office. Prior to the posting of the agenda, meeting items can be added to the meeting. At the end of each meeting is a Public Comment Section. Attendees have three minutes to speak about anything at this time. Further discussion on the topic can then be added to the next board meeting.  

The agenda is posted at the Elmwood C-Store, the post office, and the Village office.

Minutes can be viewed at the Village office or can be found online.

The free pantry is here to serve our community. It is for neighbors helping neighbors. Take what you need or leave what you can.

Elmwood #LittleFreePantry

The Little Free Pantry is located between Hufstader Chiropractor, the Elmwood Meat Market, and the Village Hall.

OPEN: every Thursday, 6:00-7:00 pm
LOCATION: 304 Main Street, Louisville

Please come and pick up what you need for your household or a friend’s.
We have canned goods, boxed meals, breakfast items, frozen meats, bread, eggs, baking ingredients, cleaning supplies, personal care items, diapers, and wipes.
