Board of Trustees Regular Meeting – December 4, 2013
The Village of Elmwood Board of Trustees met in regular session with Trustees Allgayer, Ronhovde, Wilhelm, and Chairman Ernst presiding; Trustee Clements was absent from the meeting. The meeting was called to order at 7:02 p.m. All attending signed the “Notice of Acknowledgement of Meeting”. Chairman Ernst declared the Open Meeting Act posted. Sherryl Vogt, Jake & Janelle Fleischman, and Ed Blunt were also present.
Motion by Allgayer to approve the minutes of the November 20, 2013 Board Meeting; second by Wilhelm. Vote: Aye: All, Nay: None. Motion carried.
Reports of Boards, Commissions, and Committees:
Streets: Christmas lights are up; sander installed in pickup.
Park: Court construction started.
Library: Claims for payment. Motion by Allgayer to approve the claims as presented for the library; second by Ronhovde. RCV: Yes: All, No: None. Motion carried.
Water: Pumped 1,809,000 gallons; Treated 1,582.000 gallons; Nitrates 5-6. Diaphragms ordered x 2.
Sewer: Overloads installed; functioning properly.
Comp & Zoning: No Report.
Planning Commission: No Report.
Special Events: No Report.
Safety Committee: Village inspection next week.
To Do List: No Report.
Old Business: Motion by Wilhelm to approve the subdivision for 29004 Adams Street as presented; second by Ronhovde. RCV: Yes: All, No: None. Motion carried. Bid for tree removal discussed; tabled until next meeting. Mitigation meeting report given by Trustee Wilhelm.
New Business: Letter will be sent to owner of nuisance property at 120 North 4th. School Crossing signs near preschool – Will check cost of signs/posts. 2014 Village Engineer Re-
Appointment – Motion by Ronhovde to approve the re-appointment of JEO Consulting Group as the Village Engineer for 2014; second by Wilhelm. Vote: Yes: All, No: None. Motion carried.
2014 Street Superintendent Re-appointment – Motion by Allgayer to approve the reappoint-ment of Evan B. Wickersham of JEO Consulting Group as the 2014 Street Superintendent; second by Ronhovde. Vote: Yes: All; No: None. Motion carried.
