The Village of Elmwood Board of Trustees met in regular session with Trustees Clements,
Ronhovde, Wilhelm, Allgayer, and Chairman Ernst presiding.! All attending signed the “Notice
of Acknowledgement of Meeting”. Chairman Ernst declared the Open Meeting Act posted. Ed
Blunt, Shannon Josoff, and Eugenia Bornemeier were also present.
Allgayer moved that the April 17 minutes be approved. Seconded by Wilhelm. Vote: Aye: All.
Nay: none. Motion carried.
At 7:10 a hearing was held for the Class C Liquor License for Josoff Training LLC dba Josoff’s
Social Hall. Wilhelm moved to approve. Seconded by Allgayer. Vote: Aye: Wilhelm, Allgayer,
Ernst. Nay: Ronhovde, Clements. Motion carried.
Application for building permit driveway for owners at 309 East D Street. Motioned by Allgayer
to approve the building permit. Seconded by Clements. Vote: Aye: All. Nay: None. Motion
carried.
Application for building permit for a covered patio for owners at 224 West D Street. Motioned
by Ronhovde to approve the building permit. Seconded by Clements. Vote: Aye: All. Nay: None.
Motion carried.
Application for fence permit for owners at 317 West E Street. Motioned by Ronhovde to approve
the fence permit. Seconded by Wilhelm. Vote: Aye: All. Nay: None. Motion carried.
Streets: Barricades are up on West D Street until are repairs are complete. June 8 is garage sale
day. June 15 8:00AM to noon is clean-up day in Elmwood.
Park: Trail was sprayed for weeds.
Library: Nothing to report.
Water: Ed is in contact with Doug Woodbeck. Water usage continues to run about normal. Well
houses and wells are in good repair. Plan to order insulated steel doors for two of the well
houses.
Sewer: Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Program will need be looked at in the future.
Comp & Zoning: no action taken
Special Events: Clements will contact Hunziker with OPPD to request a timeline for proposed
work on buried electrical lines.
Safety Committee: nothing to report.

New Business: Tort claim was submitted by owners at 212 South 4th Street. Village will contact
insurance company for follow-up.
Motion by Allgayer at 9:50 to enter executive session to discuss personnel. Seconded by
Wilhelm. Vote: All:Aye. Nay:none. Motion carried.
Motion by Wilhelm at 10:13 to exit executive session. Seconded by Allgayer. Vote: All:Aye.

There being no further business, Chairman Ernst declared the meeting adjourned.
