Special Meeting Minutes for 5/21/25
6pm at Village Office
Chairperson, Renee Holland, called the meeting to order at 6:06 pm.- current copy of Nebraska Open Meetings Act posted
- Roll Call: Tony Greise, Rebecca Kicak, Patric Euse, Heather Scott and Renee Holland all present
Business:
Discussion: the board reviewed the preliminary engineering report from JEO. They went over the alternatives and discussed pros and cons for both options.
Discussion: Question/Answers the board feels may come up at the upcoming meeting. Board members provided lists of questions they think may come up and discussed. Agenda was created for the town hall meeting.
Discussion: Holland, Greise, Greise and Huxhold attended the Cass County Rural Water meeting on 5/8 to discuss whether they will be able to provide water to the village and what the cost would be. Holland share the information with the board. CCRW will charge the village $5.50 per 1000 gallons of water if we hook up with them. They also stated it could take between 6months to a year to get connected if that is route we plan to take.
