Cake Pans at Elmwood Library
Libraries are changing. Nowadays it’s not uncommon for area libraries to have checkout inventories that include computers, power tools, movies and cake pans. Yes, cake pans!
Thanks to a generous donation, the Elmwood Public Library has a stockpile of 39 decorated cake pans available for checkout. The variety ranges from Cookie Monster and Elmo to sports, Christian themes and holidays. You still have to bake and decorate the cake, but now you may not have to incur the cost of a cake pan you may only use once.
Stop in and take a look!
Librarian Anne Pope knew that spring cleaning meant she would have to eventually wash the windows. So, before that happened, she let her Thursday Morning Preschool Story Time Group color the windows!
“Mom doesn’t let us do this at home!” Special markers were used and the kids almost completely colored them in. Oh, and they read books too!
You can also visit the Overdrive website for more information on checking out electronic books and media.
Be sure to stop by the library and check out the new book series that just arrived. The DVD set is also available.
NOT telling you what series it is, but once you find out there will be a list to get them. It's THAT popular
