The Waffleman was a crowd pleaser. Vince and Millie wait patiently for their breakfast.
The event was to raise money for a new defibrillator for the Elmwood Rescue Squad.
Ashli Brown, Greg Stille, and Alyssa Brown served up strawberries and juice to everyone.

Speaking of Elections....the local Village Board campaign heats up!
So far we've only seen Dave Ernst signs around town but there is still plenty of time to promote your favorite candidate!
There are three seats up for election on the Elmwood Village board. The incumbents are running for re-election along with 6 residents. We have given all the candidates a survey with probing questions that will tell us something about their platform. Once we receive their responses we will share them in the newsletter. It would be great to know who is running and what their qualifications are before election day! We are so lucky to have so many qualified people who want to volunteer to be on the Village Board. It is a thankless job that we should be appreciative to them and we should thank them for their efforts!
Incumbents: Ed Blunt, George Fields, Dave Ernst
Candidates: Curt Wilhelm, Lou Allgayer, Mary Furgerson, Suzi Walling, Brody Baer, Ben Kastens
