New Year's is coming. Do you know what that means? It's time to make a New Year's Resolution. Here are some inspiring words and some funny New Year's Resolutions. By the way next weeks newsletter I'm going to have an astonishing story about a couple who recieved an unforgettable Christmas gift.
"Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!
This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!
I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!"
How to Quit Smoking
Peter, at a New Year's party, turns to his friend, Ken, and asks for a cigarette.
'I thought you made a New Year's resolution to quit smoking,' Ken responds.
'I'm in the process of quitting,' replies Peter with a grin. 'Right now, I am in the middle of phase one.'
'Phase one?' wonders Ken.
'Yeah,' laughs Peter, 'I've quit buying.'
I will try to drive more careful.
I will pay more attention to my dog.
I will try not to buy useless stuff.
I will remember to put the gas nossel.
I will try not to park next to fire hydrants.
I will try not to interfere with games.
I will buy an actual motorcycle.
I will be kinder to my wife.
Everyone don't forget to make your New Year's Resolutions.
Welcome to the future!

I am hoping Mary Simon (Creative Memories) can join us and give us more details!!
